The Maniago Castle Visitor Centre is a multifunctional space and serves as point of departure to discover the history and what the nearby late-medieval manor used to look like, and which remains can be reached with a short and evocative walk.
The centre, opened in 2021, is part of the Pordenone foothills museum network and is an integral part of the EU-funded KLANG – Swords of Lions and Eagles Project.
Learning:
Educational activities are available for schools and organised groups: they include creative workshops and themed readings on the exhibition itinerary, as well as playful activities along the walk to the Castle.
