FOREWORD
This notice describes how users’ personal data collected through the website are managed.
Under the terms and for the purposes of Article 13 of the EU 2016/679 Regulation on General Data Protection (GDPR), we inform you that the Maniago (hereafter also the Municipality or Data Controller) treats the personal data you provide and freely disclose for the purpose of performing its institutional functions.
The municipality ensures that the treatment of your personal data respects your fundamental rights and freedoms, as well as your dignity, in particular with reference to confidentiality, personal identity and the right to protection of personal data.
This information does not concern other sites, pages or online services that can be reached via links that may be found on the site but which refer to other resources.

APPOINTMENT OF THE DATA PROTECTION OFFICER (D.P.O.) PURSUANT TO ART. 37 OF THE EU 2016/679 REGULATION
DATA PROCESSING LEGAL BASIS
Personal data collected when browsing and using this institutional website, are processed by the Municipality for the performance of its tasks of public interest or in any case related to the exercise of its office such as, for instance, administrative functions concerning the population and the Municipal territory, mainly in the fields of personal and community services, territory planning and use, and economic development, as referred to in Article 13 and following amendments and additions of the 267/2000 Legislative Decree (hereinafter referred to as Legislative Decree).
CATEGORIES AND PURPOSE OF DATA COLLECTED
A) Browsing data
When browsing the site, the system, as part of its standard operation, acquires some personal data. These data include the IP addresses or domain names of the computers (or other systems) used, the URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of requested resources, the time of request, how the request was transmitted to the server, the size of the file received in reply, the numerical code identifying the status of the server’s reply (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the IT environment.
Such data are necessary to use the site, and are used to provide services.
Browsing data are also processed to gather statistical information on the use of the services and to monitor the proper functioning of the services we provide.
B) Data voluntarily submitted by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to the Municipality’s contact addresses, as well as filling in and forwarding forms on the site, entail acquiring the sender’s contact details, which are needed to reply, as well as all personal data entered in the communications. Such data are processed for the sole purpose of replying to the user’s questions, requests and queries.
Detailed information may be published on the pages of the Municipality’s sites dedicated to specific services.
C) Cookies
Cookies are small files sent by the web server to the user’s browser and stored by the latter on the user’s device/terminal. The web server, in subsequent accesses to the site, accesses these files stored on the user’s device for different purposes. These files stored on the user’s device are accessed by the web server on future visits to the site for a number of purposes.
Cookies are not used for profiling users, nor do we use other tracking methods.
Session cookies are used solely to ensure safety and efficiency while browsing the sites. The storage of session cookies in browsers is under the user’s own responsibility.

DATA RECIPIENTS
The recipients of your personal data are:
Appointed staff members and collaborators of the municipality who have been specifically instructed and authorised. Authorised staff members have different levels of access, depending on their tasks.
Data processors, if any, for the management and maintenance of the institutional website.
Data collected will not be disclosed -except as required to meet regulatory obligations- and will not be transferred outside the European Union.
RETENTION
Browsing data and cookies will be stored for seven days. These data may, however, be stored for a longer period for the purpose of investigating liability in the event of criminal offences.
The data provided voluntarily by users by email or by filling in forms on the site will be kept for as long as necessary to comply with the purpose of the aforementioned processing and, in any case, no longer than the terms to which the Data Controller is bound by law or regulation.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
As an interested party, according to the current regulations, you may:
exercise the right to access your personal data and any information pertaining thereto; demand to rectify inaccurate data or integrate incomplete data; demand the deletion of your personal data (if one of the conditions set out in Article 17(1) of the G.D.P.R. occurs and in compliance with the exceptions set out in paragraph 3 of the same Article, e.g. if your data are unlawfully processed); demand to limit the processing of your personal data (upon the occurrence of one of the cases listed in Article 18(1) of the G.D.P.R. when, for example, your data are unlawfully processed);
object at any time to the processing of your personal data should a special situation concerning you arise;
Such claims may be directed to the Data Controller -also through the Data Protection Officer (DPO)- by sending a communication to the above-mentioned addresses, filling in the form annexed and available on the website of the Data Protection Authority;
to lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority (the Italian Data Protection Authority – www.garanteprivacy.it), or to take appropriate legal action, if you believe that the processing of your personal data performed through this site is in breach of the provisions of the G.D.P.R.
PROVISION OF DATA
With regard to the disclosure of personal data for a legal obligation, or for the performance of a task in the public interest, non-disclosure of such data shall prevent fulfilment of the online services requested.
Automated decision-making, including profiling
Your personal data will not be processed by any automated decision-making system, including profiling.
